Every other year or so around Halloween I revisit a blog post about what scares you to help us all face what’s holding us back. (Here are the 2016 and 2018 posts.)
But 2020 just seems like some never-ending horror movie, and there is no sign things will get better especially in the US with COVID-19 cases surging and the most contentious election in our lifetimes.
So this Halloween, let’s not focus on the scary things. We have had enough of that, I think.
Let’s focus on what gives us hope.
Despite not always doing well with change, I am hopeful we have found a new way to manage our membership site that will make it so much easier for our customers.
As my two oldest children get to vote in their first presidential election, I am hopeful that their generation can get us beyond what is happening right now.
I am hopeful my youngest will pass his driver’s license test so I can stop doing car pool.
And I am hopeful that I can lose this “COVID-10” I have put on by getting back into an exercise routine and eating better.
What are you hopeful for?
Whether it’s personal or work-related, share what makes you hopeful.
