Last week we mentioned we would be switching gears from our Day in the Life of a Nonprofit Communicator series to a new mini-series: Hobbies of Nonprofit Communicators.
We’ll be looking at some of the new hobbies or adventures your fellow nonprofit communicators started during the pandemic!
This week we are focusing on a few folks who picked up a new family member and adopted a pet.
From Janet Schutte:
This is Murphy our pandemic pup. Adopted on April 1 at 10 weeks old, he has no idea what “normal” is.
From Daniele Berman:
You know I can’t NOT share my pandemic kitty, Zoom, for your blogpost! (This is his “enough with the paparazzi” shot.)
From Mary Alice Holley:
We unexpectedly lost our dog last fall and decided to take in a rescue pup last month to replace him. He’s a one-year old Boykin Spaniel we named Tsuga after the Carolina Hemlock. We were told he was a failed gun dog who much preferred a lap to sit in – it’s absolutely true.
