We are getting ready for the third edition of #NPCommPix . . . want to play along this time?
It’s super easy and fun. Just look at the prompt for the day of the month and post a picture that’s related in some way – literal, metaphorical, whatever.
We’ve seen nonprofit communicators using the challenge in several ways:
1. On the nonprofit’s official accounts as a way to share a “behind the scenes” look at the organization, or as a way to highlight the people who work on and/or are served by the organization in new and creative ways
2. On staff’s personal accounts, often blending the personal and professional
3. On brand new accounts — personal or organizational — as a way to learn the ins and outs of Instagram, or as a soft launch of the accounts, before really using them strategically.
As you can see, there are lots of ways to play and to put this challenge to use for both you and your nonprofit!
Have more questions? Get all the details here and start playing April 1.
P.S. Here’s a tip . . . print out the prompts list and keep it by your desk. That way you can jot down notes about what to post as they come to you.
