Twitter Chats
#nptalk – Weekly Wednesdays, 3:00 -4:00 pm EST. Learn more.
#ynpchat – First Wednesday of the month, 4:00 -5:00 pm EST. For young nonprofit professionals.
#smnpchat – First and third Friday of every month, 12:00-1:00 pm EST (although sometime varies). For small nonprofit fundraisers and marketers. Moderated by Pamela Grow. Learn more.
#NPMC – Last Thursday of each month at 1:00 pm EST. Open to anyone involved in nonprofit marketing and communications. Moderated by Marlene Oliveira. Learn more.

#nptech – Trends and thoughts on technology for nonprofits
#14NTC – Tag for the 2014 Nonprofit Technology Conference, but it’s really used all year.
Communications and Outreach
#video4change – Use when posting your nonprofit videos
#socimpact – Use when talking about the impact your nonprofit is having.
#dogood – Use when posting calls to action
You might also want to check out general keyword hashtags like:

- #grantwriting
- #volunteer
- #activism
- #foundations
And keywords specific to your cause like:
- #climatechange
- #humanrights
- #hunger
- #LGBT
- #rescuedogs
If it’s a keyword for your organization, chances are there is a hashtag associated with it and you should be paying attention!
