Yesterday we taught our new webinar on engaging content strategies for Instagram.
I thought you might like to know which strategies other nonprofit communicators wanted to try first from those we presented.
The order of these lists is based on poll results from the webinar.
To Create More Engagement via Instagram Stories:
- Testing people’s knowledge with quizzes or polls
- Sharing news and asking for reactions using polls
- Sharing user-generated content that includes a nonprofit’s community hashtag (like #GirlScoutsatHome, #WhyILoveNature, #WorldWishDay)
- Give them something to download and use (like art that can be used as phone backgrounds)
To Create More Engagement via Instagram Reels:
- Behind the scenes of your program work
- People sharing about their experiences with your mission or organization in their own words
- Video Q & A with staff
- Showing or teaching people how to do something quickly
